27 designs are ready to reach the finals of this first ‘Design your synergy‘ contest. Hanno, Axel, Alfalfa, M.Teran and Marquina are going to be the judges that will choose the 10 finalists. Good luck for everyone!

Each judge will choose two cards of his corresponding group. Then the 10 finalists will be published and voted upon in an anonymous way by the whole community.

There are no specific rules to do a proper designs evaluation. Just use whatever criteria you consider. Just a small tip: the card could have a wrong wording as long as its interaction is clear enough. In case it would be implemented the wording will be fixed if needed.

The judges call will be published on Monday morning in the blog and facebook groups.

Groups

#1 Doran Martell

Martell. Non-loyal.
Character. Cost 6. Strength 4.
Lord.
Reaction: After a Martell character enters play under your control choose two characters. Until the end of the phase, one of those characters loses an icon of your choice and the other gains it. (Max twice per round).
Action: Kneel your faction card to put a Martell character with cost 3 or lower into play from your hand. At the end of the phase, if that card is still in play, discard it from game.

Attached character gains Captain trait and a power, a military and an intrige icons.

Reaction: after you win a power challenge as the attacking player, choose a character in your discard pile, add it to your deck, and shuffle it.

Reaction: after you win a military challenge as the attacking player, choose a location or an attachment in your discard pile, add it to your deck, and shuffle it.

Reaction: after you win an intrigue challenge as the attacking player, choose a event in your discard pile, add it to your deck, and shuffle it.

Interrupt: when attached character is killed, moved Lord Captain to another eligible character.

#5 Lordsport Castle

Each House Botley character that you control gains +1 STR for each of your opponent’s cards that have been removed from the game.
Reaction: After you win a challenge in which you control an attacking House Botley character, kneel Lordsport Castle to choose a card in your opponent’s discard pile, and remove it from the game.

Reaction: after you discard a card from your hand, gain X gold. X is that card printed cost (Limit once per phase).
"She would have been lost without Xaro."

FAQS: if an effect like Qotho which discards 2 cards is activated, you choose which card applies for Xaro's effect.

Reaction: after you complete a search effect, toss a coin and call it.
f you guess it right, you can repeat the search effect ignoring the costs, otherwise return the card(s) you searched and revealed to your deck and shuffle your deck.

#4 Dagmer Cleftjaw

Reaction: When you win a challenge choose a defending character who does not contribute its STR to this challenge and roll a dice.
1-2: Put that character on top of its owner's deck.
3-4: Return that character to its owner's hand.
5-6: Put that character on bottom of its owner's deck.

#5 Young John Mudd

Targaryen. Non-loyal.
Character. Cost 3. Strength 4.

Reaction: after Young John Mudd enters play roll a dice.
If the result was 1, choose and discard one mercenary card from play.
If the result was 2, 3 or 4, choose 2 cards in your discard pile and add them to your hand.
If the result was 5 Young John Mudd gains renown.
If the result was 6 choose a Lady, ally or companion character owned by an opponent. Take control of it.

Any phase. Kneel street Wife to choose an opponent. If you have more tan 2 non unique dothraki characters in your discard pile that player must select one. Put it in your hand

#3 Tower of Glimmering

Greyjoy. Non-loyal.

Action: Kneel a House Harlaw character to draw a card, or stand a House Harlaw character to choose an opponent. That player draws a card. (limit once per round.)
Challenges Action: Choose a player whose hand size is equal to his or her reserve value. Until the end of the phase, cards cannot leave or enter that player's hand.

#4 Warlock's prophecy

Action: Search your deck for a loyal event, reveal it and put it in your hand. Shuffle your deck and draw a card. At the end of the phase put a card from your hand on top of your deck. (Max 1 per phase)

Reaction: after Chain enters play roll a dice.
If the result was 1 kneel him.
If the result was 2, 3 or 4, Chain gains an intrigue icon and intimidate.
If the result was 5 you can put into play from your hand a character with printed cost 5 or lower.
If the result was 6 you gain 2 gold, draw a card and you can initiate an ability with the word "dice" in it.

#4 Arianne's Conspirators
